Potential

This song has a ton of potential. I love the idea you have going here, some suggestions I would make would be to look into a slightly better piano plugin. Its a nice piano sound but it still sounds too fake and when combined with the rest of the song, it starts to wear in its charm. Keep going dude, I want to hear more soon :P

You've got the right idea.

First I would like to say to all you haters; If you absolutely hate the song, fine, but if you do not have any sort of constructive criticism, or advice to give, then don't post please. This site is supposed to be a site for musicians to show off their stuff and get real reviews and advice to improve.

Now for your music: It's great! I can tell you enjoy making your music seeing as how every song so far seems to have a rather joyous overtone to it. I do feel that some of your songs may be a bit on the repetitive side, but over all they're good. They're not the best I've heard by far, but they're not even in the same ball park as the worst I've heard. In short, keep makin your music dude, and dont let anyone ruin it for you.

Regardless of the name, Let us review this song!

I liked it quite a bit, Yeah the name wasn't the best choice, people have made that quite clear, however you did a wonderful job creating this piece. I like that it has so much diversity to it, and unlike alot of songs on newgrounds, it actually comes back to the original theme towards the end. There may be a few balancing issues here and there (some parts sound a little.... off) but other than that, it is a great song and i hope to hear more like it in the future. =]

I completely agree, there are very obvious EQ/frequency/balancing issues in this song that I will not be caught doing again, as I have learned so much since making this.

Very Nice

Ah its been quite a while since I've delved into the world of jazz. This really feel like I'm in a jazz bar if I close my eyes. (If any of you have ever been to a Jazz Bar, you know what I'm talking about) I like the tone on the trumpet, it really helps bring out the fell that it's right there. Good job :) Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go pick up my sax that I've been neglecting for 4 years....

I liked it.

But as sigh123321 stated, the name is supposed to give somewhat of a sorrowful feel. This song felt sort of sorrowful, but it just feels...... I guess it feels kind of empty in a way. I just don't feel the amount of emotion going into the making of this piece as compared to the original.

In terms of it as a song in itself: Its a good song, nice beat, and feels rather relaxing yet somewhat entrancing. The added piano seemed a bit repetitive, but was almost addicting in a way.

All in all: Good song, but not stellar in terms of a remix.

Absolutely wonderful

I love how calming this song is, so peaceful. Great job on balancing out the instruments and really capturing the mood. I look forward to hearing some of your other contributions. Also, am i detecting some Last Samurai inspiration here?

I think youve managed to create your own genre of music, or at least a subgenre. but nonetheless, brilliantly put together. i find myself browsing your other music craving for more :D thanks a ton for giving me something completely new and intriguing to listen to!! (>^_^)> <(^_^<)

holy crap!!!

i was expecting a decent ambient song. not an awesome song that would become my new fav. great job on the song. only problems i have, are its too short. and the bass is MASSIVE. i wasnt ready for it when it started shaking the house XD. overall., great job and i hope to hear more like it. my kind of music.

it interesting

some good ideas, some interesting melodies, and interesting combinations make for an interesting song. definately fits the catagory of "Ambient" i think it is a bit repetitive in the beginning, seems to drag on for a bit before moving on. around the middle, its still kinda repetitive but with a different theme to it. the beats are pretty good. and your choice of instruments are good as well. it would sound terrible with any other choice so good job on that one. in the last quarter of the song, it seems to get better, not so repetitive, and once again, some pretty good melodies. so in short : good. a little more elaborate: its good, great ideas, and has lots of potential. the only flaw at the moment, is the fact that its repetitive. so, 8/10 4/5. good work, keep it up, hope to hear more from you soon.

hm...

its... ok. the main problem i have with it, is the drums, they are rather obnoxious in my opinion, the rest of the song, is actually pretty good, but oh well. other then that, great job keep it up.

In my own way I agree with you...the drums can be a bit...overwhelming. But I will be remastering this one soon to take care of some of the clipping issues and tone the drums down a bit...I hope it will be good enough...
